While it’s true that Barcelona doesn’t have the huge Christmas markets and skating rinks of other major European cities, Spaniards are notorious for finding any excuse to get out and about. And isn’t that what Christmas is all about? Getting together with your loved ones?
So we decided to go from the school to the modernist enclosure of Sant Pau for a very special walk. Until the 14th of January, this place is transformed into a fairytale landscape, with Christmas lights, impressive illuminated vegetation and creative illuminated figures. Everyone can enjoy a pleasant and romantic evening on a 1.5 kilometre circuit.
In any case, it offered a slow break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas and drew the eye to the contemplative world at the most beautiful time of the year.
