Almost all of our Spanish schools have reopened after closure due to COVID-19

After the decision by the Spanish government to close all schools in Spain from 14 March 2020, we have successfully switched fully to online Spanish courses. Since July 2020 all schools in Spain have reopened for face-to-face classes. After that, schools in Latin America gradually followed.

Now all our schools in Spain and most of our schools in Latin America have reopened and we’re very happy to see many students are following in-person lessons again.

However, the online Spanish courses by Zoom has appeared to be a great success for students who still cannot travel or want to continue their Spanish studies. So Spanish Online by Linguaschools is definitely here to stay!

Travelling to Spain from another country within the EU is possible, taking into account certain measurements such as a PCR test. Please find here the actual travel restrictions for Spain.
Travelling from outside the EU in most cases is restricted to ‘essential travel’ only, which does include students coming with a student visa for Spain.

What measurements will schools take to ensure a safe health situation?

All schools have adapted the sanitary measures and recommendations from both the national and regional health authorities and we will inform our staff and students accordingly.
This means the exact measurements might vary per school and will change over time, but can consist of:

  • Keeping distance where possible, inside classrooms
  • Wearing a face mask where possible
  • Temperature control of all students and staff at school entrance
  • Extra cleaning of door handles, toilets, etc.
  • Washing hands more often (with soap or disinfectant)
  • Outdoor classes
  • Etc.

Of course you will be informed once you get to the school and accommodation (if reserved).
