Stay in a student residence and you share the experience with other language school students. You make new friends, explore the local culture together, practice your Spanish and have fun.
Each of our student residences is different and this accommodation is not available in all locations. These residences best resemble the destination in which they are located, so you also gain a local cultural experience. They range from a cool Mexican hostel-style residence in Guanajuato, to paradise beach cabañas in Montañita; and from the heart of Cusco to Caribbean student houses with a swimming pool in Tamarindo.

We warmly recommend you stay at an Eco Cabaña during your time in Montañita. These private houses offer comfort and privacy, in a classic Caribbean style cabana. The houses are situated in a quiet environment, within a few minutes walk from school, the beach and the city centre. They are spacious and come with a fan, private bathroom, plus a terrace with a hammock. Most of the houses are situated around a swimming pool and are surrounded by tropical plants. There is a communal area with a large kitchen.
You can book a single, double or dorm room cabaña. Please note that the double room can only be reserved for 2 students who travel together. If you want to share a room with other students you should book the cabaña dorm. We mostly have 4 bed dorms along with one 6 bed dorm. The 6 bed dorm cabaña has two bathrooms and a kitchen inside. You will share the cabaña and its facilities with other students.
Best suited to a couple learning Spanish together, these cabanas are larger than others and include a small kitchen. Students can do their own cooking and really live in a home away from home, with plenty of comforts. These cabanas are also a nice way to gain some privacy, particularly if you are naturally less social.

Frequently asked questionsFAQ
When does the course start?
All courses begin on a Monday and end on a Friday. Starting in the middle of the week is not possible. Most courses start any Monday of the year. If Monday is a holiday and the school is closed, the course will start on a Tuesday. There are fixed start dates for absolute beginners and for some special courses, such as exam preparation courses or extensive evening courses. Customised individual classes can start on different weekdays.
At what time does the first class start?
The exact start time will be written on your personal page, no later than 5 days before the start of your course. Depending on the destination, this can be somewhere between 7:30 and 9:00h, but can also be in the afternoon.
We are 2 or more who want to come together and be in the same class and/or stay in the same accommodation. How should we book this?
If you want to book a course with 2 or more persons, each person should individually enrol through our website. On the second page you should add a note in the comment box, with the name of the person you are travelling with.
We will then make sure you will be placed together in the accommodation and/or class (as long as you have the same level). When you are with more than 2 persons we will always try our best, but cannot guarantee that you will be placed in the same accommodation. Contact us for more information.
