Learn Spanish in Valencia

Linguaschools Valencia

Linguaschools Valencia is part of the Linguaschools Spanish language school network and offers Spanish courses in Valencia for adults and young adults from around the world. The school combines intensive Spanish courses, short- and long-term study options, university pathway programs, accommodation and cultural activities with the facilities of a large, established Spanish school in a real Spanish villa.

VALENCIA

Valencia is a Mediterranean university city with a relaxed rhythm, a strong local identity and plenty of space to enjoy daily life in Spanish. It combines beaches, parks, historic neighbourhoods, food culture and modern architecture in a way that makes it especially attractive for students who want both study structure and a liveable city experience.

The city is known for paella, the Turia Park, the old town, the university area, the City of Arts and Sciences and long stretches of beach. But Valencia is not only a city for sightseeing. It is also a practical place to stay for several weeks or months, with a friendly local atmosphere, good public transport, student life and many everyday situations where you can practise Spanish outside class.

Valencia is a strong choice for students who want Spanish immersion in a Mediterranean setting without the intensity of a larger capital. You can study in the morning, spend time with classmates in the garden or on the terraces, explore the old town, cycle through the Turia Park or go to the beach after class.

City of Art and Science

Curling elegantly along the water, this collection of contemporary buildings is putting Valencia on the architectural map. It’s a beautiful place with so much you can come and discover.

Paella

Paella originates from Valencia. Here you can taste and learn the subtleties of this famous dish. Discover its traditions at local restaurants and dine at the places that are true to the paella heritage.

Valencia beach

Clean sand and warm Mediterranean water – what else could you ask for when wanting an afternoon hangout spot? Come to relax here during the day. Then stay for the lively atmosphere that’s found at evening time.

Turia River Park

This ribbon of green runs through the heart of Valencia, connecting the city’s old and new. Locals come to Turia River Park for their evening paseo (walk), or simply as the nicest way to get around. You are certain to spend time here, probably on every single day.

El Carmen district

A maze of alleyways and plazas, El Carmen is Valencia’s most charming neighbourhood. It buzzes with local energy, through the day and into the night. The heritage buildings have been carefully restored and there’s a surprise to find on almost every corner.

Cultural activities in Valencia

Learning Spanish in Valencia is not only about the classroom. Linguaschools Valencia organises cultural activities throughout the year, helping students practise Spanish, meet other international students and experience the city beyond standard sightseeing.

Activities can include food and market experiences, neighbourhood walks, cultural visits, park and beach activities, language exchanges and local events connected to Valencia’s traditions and Mediterranean lifestyle. The program is organised locally, so students can discover the city in a more personal way while using Spanish in real situations outside class.

Valencia is especially strong for this kind of cultural immersion. The old town, university area, Turia Park, beach, food culture and local festivals give students many ways to keep learning and practising Spanish after lessons have finished.
