- Fallas – Each neighbourhood of Valencia has an organized group of people, the Casal faller, that works all year long holding fundraising parties and dinners, usually featuring the famous speciality paella, and of course much music and laughter. Each casal faller produces a construction known as a falla which is eventually burnt during Fallas.

- Vendimia – The celebration of the beginning of the wine harvest is done in a rather wet way. People are asking, or even bagging, the powers that be for the water needed for the forthcoming harvest and in reaction to their prays, they are treated a big water fight using buckets and hoses and at the end of the day everybody goes home soaking wet. Visitors are also given the opportunity to taste wine from the first pressing and there is a procession held.
