Yesterday we grabbed some drinks and snacks and went to the Barceloneta beach to watch together the Spanish film “La vida era eso” with English subtitles.
The screening was part of the very well-known “Cinema lliure a la platja Film Festival”, which is a must if you are spending your summer in Barcelona. During the months of July and August you have the opportunity to sit on the sand of different beaches of Catalonia with your friends, while watching a film in original version. What’s more, right before the film you can enjoy a short film.
Our movie started when the sun was setting, that is, when it is dark enough to ensure good screen visibility. And while waiting for it we had time to chat and get to know each other even more.
