Christmas and Medieval market in Vic

Saturday morning we took the early train to the lovely picturesque city of Vic…and we were not the only ones. A full happy train took us trough the mountains up north.

The city of Vic becomes, for 3 days, a stage to recreate medieval times, with stalls distributed throughout the old town, offering visitors a wide and varied commercial offer: decorative items, jewellery, medicinal herbs, clothing accessories, sausages, cheeses, pastries or chocolate, among many other products. You will find taverns and many places to eat: crepes, grills, sandwiches, sausage or artisan pastry among others.

We bought gifts for friends and families and ate a lot of food, drank vino caliente in the sun and stepped into the Christmas feeling. After a full day in Vic we got back on the train, exhausted but satisfied.
