We are music lovers here at Linguaschools Granada, and when last June and July, the city celebrated the 74th Granada Dance and Music Festival, we didn’t hesitate one minute!
This event offers, year after year, a luxury program in some of the city’s most emblematic settings, such as the Generalife, a palace and a set of gardens that were part of the Alhambra and served as a resting place for the Muslim kings of the Nasrid kingdom of Granada.
During these days, the city is filled with music and dance, and we couldn’t help but organize a visit with our students.
Once there, we were blessed to enjoy performances by some of the most talented artists in the world, as well as music from various genres such as classical, jazz, flamenco, modern dance, and traditional styles.
These kinds of celebrations are so meaningful to us and to the students; they help us get to know each other better, learn new vocabulary and the history of our beautiful city, while we enjoy and nourish our hearts and spirits.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s festival!
