A day in Tossa de Mar

This Saturday we had the opportunity to see the absolute best that Catalonia has to offer at the famous Costa Brava.

Tossa de Mar, considered “the pearl of Costa Brava”, is an old fishing village chosen as a summer residence by great artists and intellectuals, which combines more than 2000 years of history with spectacular costal sceneries, sandy beaches, rocky caves and tasty local restaurants.

Once we arrived in Tossa de Mar, we walked up the hill to the medieval castle and to the lighthouse from where we appreciated stunning views of the rugged coastline full of to the cliffs, coves, and glittering waters . When descending, we went through the narrow streets and stony houses of Vila Vella.

Afterwards we had free time to lay on the beach, have lunch and do some shopping.

It was simply amazing!
