Sunday morning in la Sagrada Familia

The Sagrada Família is one of the must-sees for anyone who comes to Barcelona. You have most likely been walking near to admire it, but you haven’t entered to discover the interior. The reason? It’s a bit expensive and you also have to book well in advance.

If you are one of those people who don’t plan their trips in advance, disorganized and impulsive, perhaps the following trick will help you to enter the Sagrada Família for free. It doesn’t matter if the tickets are sold out; you aren’t going to spend a single euro to access the basilica. Also, you won’t have to jump over the fences or wait for one of the security guards to be distracted to sneak in. It’s as simple as pretending to be a catholic (or exercising it if you profess this religion)!

Like any Catholic church, the Sagrada Família celebrates masses every Sunday morning. So now you know and you can do as we did: set the alarm clock early, because as the popular proverb says, the early bird catches the worm!
