We celebrate the Moon Festival in Valencia

One of the most enriching things about learning Spanish in an international environment is
to meet students of different nationalities and share the traditions of our country with them. That’s why last week, at Linguaschools Valencia we celebrated one of the most special days of Chinese culture: Moon Festival, also known as Mid–Autumn Festival.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second-most important holiday for many Asian countries and has a tradition of more than 3,000 years.

Baosen, one of our beloved students from China, has shared delicious cupcakes with her international colleagues to celebrate the Moon Festival. This is a very celebrated tradition in Asian countries such as China, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan, in which people celebrated the harvest. In addition, nowadays, many people come together to contemplate the moon with their families and friends while enjoying a sweet called Mooncake.
