Located just 10 kilometers southwest of Granada, this place allows you to enjoy nature in its purest form. The Monachil river canyon, called Los Cahorros, is a very popular area for hiking in the region.
The route is 9.5 kilometers long, has a maximum elevation gain of 400 meters, and can be done in approximately four hours. This route is not excessively complicated and its landscape changes in each season of the year. Therefore, if you like to be outdoors, we recommend doing it several times!
