Monday, 23th September

  • BAM at La Mercé: The new sounds of pop, rock, hip-hop and electronic music have a prominent place in this music festival. Go and listen to the free concerts and you can be sure that you will discover a new favourite band. From the 20th until the 23th of September. Check the times of all the concerts around town. 

Tuesday, 24th September

  • La Mercé 2019: The great festival of tradition. La Mercè festival as you know it today came into being in the early 20th century, when the celebrations became a compendium of Catalan traditions. A hundred years later, you can discover the wealth of Barcelona’s festival iconography, stroll among giants and dragons and immerse yourselves in a world of traditions. This festival takes place in the whole city and today is the last day. Check the full program here. 

Wednesday, 25th September

  • Barcelona Short Films: We screen the best Short Films and Animations from around the World. This time we will celebrate this amazing season with a best of the best from the whole season. The idea is to have a different movie experience. At the same time as you get to watch some cool short movies (documentaries, animations, drama, comedy, etc) you can meet locals and International people and have a drink (or Jägermeister) together. A more social way of watching films. 
    The films will be in English, Spanish and Catalan with subtitles, so a mixture of the best of both local and International films.

Thursday, 26th September

  • Swab (contemporary art fair): Swab will welcome you at the Italian Pavilion for its 12th edition (in front of la Font Màgica de Montjuic). It is a place to discover the most innovative artistic proposals and meet the local and international artists from all disciplines who are pushing the boundaries of expression and tracing the course of the art scene for the coming years. Today at 16:00 Collectors Preview (invitation only)
    and at 18:00 Official Opening (invitation only) Friday, Saturday and Sunday the fair is open to everybody. Get your tickets in advance here. More info here.

Friday, 27th September

  • La Ruta del Vermut del Carrer de Blai: A route to live an experience that will awaken all your senses. A glass of vermouth that will make you forget your worries. 

    You are welcome every second weekend of each month to take La Ruta de Vermut del Carrer de Blai, where the charm of each participating venue will make you want to return. More info here. Metro Paral·lel, (L2 and L3). 


Saturday, 28th September

  • James Murphy (5 hour dj set): Today you will get the chance to dance for 5 hours non stop on James Murphy’s ( LCD Soundsystem) beats. Get your tickets in advance (20€). Razzmatazz, Pamplona 88, metro Bogatell (L4). 


Sunday, 29th September

  • The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride: The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage style motorcycle riders all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa. It was inspired by a photo of TV Show Mad Men’s, Don Draper astride a classic bike and wearing his finest suit. Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way of connecting niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities while raising funds to support the men in our lives. Find more information here and here
