- Meditation in nature: Learn to meditate – In Spanish with the Buddhist monk Jason Simard. Registration is free. To participate, we invite you to bring a meditation cushion or yoga mat, but above all, a positive motivation and good humor. Free activity that will last approximately one hour. The activity begins with a first meditation practice of a few minutes, followed by an explanation on meditation where the Buddhist monk Jason will offer practical and useful advice. - Maraca en Apolo: Do you feel empty because the Churros con Chocolate season is over and you do not know what to do until September? Well, we have good news: on Tuesdays in summer, it is MARACA time! The spin off of our already legendary party churrera lands in Sala Apolo on Tuesday nights to make you dance all summer, with the best hits of all time. A unique weekly residence in Barcelona in a diverse and original environment, which starts at 23:00 when you have been thrown out of the terraces, and until dawn. Advance tickets to € 6. - Watch “La Favorita” under the Barcelona sky: In July and August, Sala Montjuic is showing a selection of the best movies of all time, with concerts, picnics and short films. All this next to the old castle on top of Montjuic. Doors open: 20.30, Concert starts: 20:45, Film starts: 22:00. There is a free shuttle service from Plaça Espanya. The stop is located between the two towers and runs from 20.15 to 21.30. You can bring your own chair, food and drinks or you can hire a chair and buy food and drinks on the spot. Or you can choose for an Eco-picnic, these are packed meals that you can order in advance. They include a burger, chips and a soft drink or beer. All for just 10 euros when you order in advance (25% less than if you purchase one on arrival). Tonight you can watch La Favorita (Original version in English with Spanish subtitles)! - Sónar de Dia: The Sónar festival is on this week! If you don’t feel like going all days, you can also buy a Sónar by Day ticket which gives you 1 day entrance at Fira Montjuïc and a selection of activities at Sónar+D today from 13:00 to 23:00. Get your ticket in advance (€62). Fira Montjuic, Avinguda Rius i Taulet, s/n, metro Plaza España (L1 and L3).
Friday, 19th July
- Música als Parcs: Music in the Parks includes free concerts around thirty green spaces in the city until the end of August. A way of enjoying nature and music in the city. Consult the programme. Tonight at 21:00 there is a concert of Tro in Parc de la Creueta del Coll, metro El Coll | La Teixonera (L5). Last week we went with students to a concert in de park at Diagonal Mar and we enjoyed it a lot!
Saturday, 20th July
- Fiesta Mayor Poble Sec: It’s summer which means the start of the Fiesta’s Mayor. Every neighborhood has their own party, until the 28th of July Poble Sec is the place to be. We love this barrio and go there very often to eat tapas. Expect concerts, art, paella, cabaret, dance and traditional castells in the streets during this feast. Sit down in Calle Blai, have a drink and watch the locals celebrate and then of course… join them! Check out the full program here.

- Tour Parc Labyrinth and its secrets: Laberinto de Horta is the oldest park in the city of Barcelona. We will walk through the park, enter the labyrinth and retrieve the stories that exist within it, based on Greek mythology. Ariadna and Theseus, Eco and Narcissus, Apollo and the Muses … They will accompany us on this trip! Cost: 10 Euros. Duration: 2 hours. Language: Spanish Reserve your spot on meetup.
