Last week, our students of our school in Buenos Aires, went to visit the exposition ‘Les Visitants’ in the CCK.
This prestigeous exposition presents a variety of selected artworks by Guillermo Kuitca of the Fondation Cartier like the contemporary artworks of David Lynch, Patti Smith, Nobuyoshi Araki, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Adriana Varejão y Tony Oursler.
We sat in ‘David’s Living Room Revisited’. inspired by the drawnings of David Lunch.
The history of that room started in 2007 when David Lynch imagined this space inspired by his own paintings and drawning ‘The Air is on Fire’.
In this room you can listen to the voice of Patti Smith reading a text written by David Lynch.
We walked through the Mirror Maze (Dead Eyes Live).
This artwork was created in 2003 by Tony Oursler, an American multimedia and installation artist.
A room full of eyes closing and opening. He began developing the Eyes series in 1996.
We also could admire a gallery of photos of various artists.
It was an intruiging and full of suprises visit.
