Activities in Madrid

We strive to give our students the optimal balance between a good learning experience and some good fun abroad. Our schools have a varied programme of activities which they offer besides the course programme. This way you have the possibility to come into contact with other students and enjoy the Spanish culture. These are some examples:

special events
  • Fiestas de San Isidro – One of the most important festivals, which honors Madrid's saint, San Isidro Labrador. The city frequently has outdoor concerts and lots and lots of parties. This is also the most important part of the season for bullfighting- taking place in the arena Plaza de Toros Monumental de las Ventas.

  • Dos de Mayo – most celebrated day in Madrid. Malasaña district, one day after Labor Day.

  • Fiesta de San Juan – A whole week of feasting and celebrations, taking place in Retiro Park.
