In October 2008 a group of 31 enthusiastic students Spanish headed for Salamanca. Lingua arranged the complete program for this week. Afterwards we received this reaction from one of the participants. Studying Spanish in Salamanca In the week of 12 October I visited Salamanca together with a group of 31 students. I got the opportunity to go study Spanish in Spain for 1 week with the students from my institute. My teacher told me it would be very good for my pronunciation and I found out it was! |

We arrived in Madrid where we were picked up by a bus which brought us to Salamanca after a wonderful tour over the Meseta. On Monday I had my first Spanish lessons. After a (tough) level test, we were divided in several groups. After this the lessons started. We only took 4 lessons in the mornings, but I felt like I had learned more than half a school year in Holland! |
| All of the teachers where fun, enthusiastic, young women, who clearly had a lot of fun themselves in teaching foreign students their language. The teachers also came along with the organised excursions, like a tapa-night, a city tour, an excursion to La Peña de Francia and the little village La Alberca. We also took some salsa lessons and learned to make paella. Lingua did a great job organising these things! | ![]() |

“I have rarely seen a better and more pleasant team than the team on this school in Salamanca”. On Friday night we drove to Madrid again after a stop in Avila. It was a fantastic week, a perfect trip, an excellent program and if I ever go back to Spain to improve my Spanish I won’t doubt to call lingua immediately! |
Maria, Noelia, Clara, Rocío, Auxiliadora, Serge and all of the others: ¡ Muchas gracias por todo !
